TRANSPORT BOARD SERVICE CHANGES JULY 2009
The Transport Board wishes to inform the travelling public of changes to its services.
- BAYFIELD
This service from Bridgetown will turn left at Boarded Hall, right at the Turnpike, right to Highway 4B traveling via Brighton, Frenches, Bydes Mill, Halton Plantation (Banana Trees) right to Sunbury, Edgecumbe, straight to Highway 5, left to Brereton and proceed to Bayfield on the normal route.
The journey to Bridgetown will be on the reverse of the above journey.
- KENDAL
This service from Bridgetown will turn left at Windsor Four Cross, Brighton, right to Highway 4B, via Brighton, Frenches, Byde Mill, left to Halton, Featherbed Lane, Cox Hill, Church Village Housing area, Church Village, Sunbury Tenantry, Evelyn Road, Edgecumbe Hill, Brereton, Edgecumbe, Sunbury, left to highway 4B traveling via Byde Mill, Frenches, left to Brighton, Windsor, right to Highway 5 and proceed to Bridgetown on the normal route.
- WELLHOUSE
This service from Bridgetown will turn left at Windsor Four Cross, Brighton, right to Highway 4B, via Brighton, Frenches, Byde Mill, Halton Plantation (Banana Trees) right to Sunbury, Edgecumbe, straight to Highway 5, left to Brereton and proceed to Bayfield on the normal route. The journey to Bridgetown will be on the reverse of the above journey.
- ST. GEORGE CHURCH TO OISTINS
This service will travel on its normal route up to Brighton (although it may have to come out to Windsor and return) then continue along Highway 4B traveling via Buttals, Brighton, Frenches, Byde Mill, Halton Plantation (Banana Trees) right to Sunbury, Edgecumbe, straight to Highway 5, left to Brereton and proceed on the normal route.
The return journey to St. George Church will be on the reverse of the above journey.
- BOWMANSTON
As a result of the road works on the Ashford Road there will be changes to the Bowmanston service.
On reaching Ashford Road from Bowmanston, the bus will then turn left and continue to right to Colleton, Lodge School, Massiah Street, right to Rose Gate and continue to Guinea turn right at the Summit and left around the hill and turn at the bottom on the left hand side. The bus will then display the Bridgetown sign swinging and return to Stewart Hill and then return to Bridgetown.
Ashford Road will be closed from 0730 to 1630.
