Crop Over 2025: Moving the Nation, Safely and Sustainably

As the curtains close on another vibrant Crop Over season, we at the Barbados Transport Board are proud to have played our part in making the celebrations safer, more convenient, and accessible for all.
This year, we expanded our Park and Ride services for Pic-O-De-Crop, Soca 25, and several private events, offering festivalgoers a stress-free alternative to parking and traffic congestion. Many commuters took advantage of the service, choosing a reliable, affordable, and eco-friendly mode of transportation as part of their Crop Over experience.
What were the benefits of choosing to travel with us?
- Reduced traffic in and around event venues
- Enhanced safety for late-night revellers
- Improved access for locals and visitors alike
- Support for national and private sector events
Although some commuters had expressed concerns that the buses were being deployed to these events, which would affect their travel, this is not the case, as the majority of the events occurred outside of regular travel hours.
We thank the public for trusting us to get them there and back, safely. This is more than just transport; itβs part of a broader commitment to supporting culture, reducing our environmental impact, and improving mobility across Barbados.
ππ Let’s continue to move forward together into 2026
